Samsara is one of the few Indian words loaded with many meanings, spiritual, material, and. earthly.

Samsara is one of the untranslatable words from Indian languages: Sanskrit and many other languages that have derived from Sanskrit. Samsara has many meanings, and it could imply a particular meaning in a particular context.

Generally, samsara refers to endless cycle of birth, death, and re-births; a continuous flow of a life form from one body to another body (transmigration of soul); all living beings cyclically go through births, deaths, re-births – the cycle of successive existence. And the opposite of samsara is nirvana, moksha or kaivalya – which is the release from the samsara.

Religiously, in Buddhism samsara refers to the process of coming into existence as a differentiated mortal creature. In Hinduism, samsara refers to the endless series of births, deaths, and rebirths to which all beings are subjected to.

Samsaram Oka Chadarangam is the title of a 1987 Telugu language drama films under the banner AVM Productions; a remake of Tamil film Samsaram Adhu Minsaram released in 1986. Samsaram Oka Chadarangam literally refers to family is one of a chess game – the selfishness of individuals within a family reflect and the enmeshed state of life: samsara. The cast includes Rajendra Prasad, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Sarath Babu, Suhasini, Nutun Prasad in the lead roles. The movie is a story about an ordinary middle-class family wherein the householder works as central government clerk. He and his wife struggle to make the ends meet with their mere income, they experience the growing demands of children and their change in behaviour … life of samsara is evoked profoundly.
